We spent a couple of nights in Newtown Creek but as usual on the Saturday it began to fill up with day sailors / motor boaters from the mainland and many have little idea of how to anchor so things became uncomfortable having to watch them getting much too close. We left as soon as the tide was favourable.
The wind was great. It was from the West and blew us along at good speed and we arrived in Thorney in quick time.
After four nights in Thorney we are heading back into the marina.
