Skye

It is just a few miles from Eigg to Skye so we left and made our way North. We anchored in Loch Nadal for a night before continuing through the very swirly narrows to Kyleakin.
Kyleakin has a pontoon where we were lucky to obtain an alongside berth and from there we caught the bus to Portree where our post had been sent.
Mo managed to hobble around Portree for a while, as Mike told Mo, this is not what is meant by getting ‘legless’ at a ceilidh.
Last time we visited Sky 10 years ago the buses were very hit and miss and nothing has changed. Our bus was only an hour late and talking to local people they also say that they have no idea what the timetables mean.
Therefore as soon as we saw a bus going back to Kyleakin we grabbed seats.
As the incredibly thundery weather is forecast to move our way we decided to stay for 4 days before heading round the North of Sky.
