Ramsgate Marina 2

Ramsgate Marina 2

After our experience at Ramsgate the harbourmaster did contact me and apologised offering us our mooring fee back, which we accepted. The refrigerator received attention from me and I made it work. I guess it had overheated and shut down.
A few days later after Mo had contacted the lady to arrange for our mooring fee back the harbourmaster telephoned and took details for the repayment once again apologising and explaining that the dredger should not have come so close to the moored boats.
We agreed that the claim for the fridge would go on hold until I have checked with a specialist about what happened. However for now it seems to be OK.
If we sail back we will try to avoid Ramsgate.
Then came the passage across the Thames estuary to Walton on the Naze.
