Tayport to Peterhead.

We spent three days in Tayport where everyone was very hospitable to us. We took the bus into Dundee twice and on one of the days spent most of it looking at the Discovery ship and museum which took Scott to the Antarctic, a good day out.
We left the Tay early Sunday morning and headed to Peterhead sailing most of the way in light SE winds. Ti Gitu arrived at 21.30 with a very tired crew.
In the past it was possible to anchor in the harbour but with the amount of shipping movements these days the port authority no longer want yachts to anchor so we entered the marina. There is lots of space and a couple of other yotties helped us moor in the slightly difficult cross wind.
We took the bikes off on Monday and cycled around the town which is nice once you are away from the docks.
Next is to round Rattray head and head in towards Inverness.
